  • 1.5 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 6 oz bacon
  • 4 eggs
  • 1.5 cups cream
  • 1 cup gruyere
  • Nutmeg
How to cook it

Method

  1. Cut butter into flour; bind with cold water; chill an hour.
  2. Blind bake shell until pale gold.
  3. Whisk eggs, cream, nutmeg; fill with bacon and cheese.
  4. Bake at 350F for 35 minutes until just set; rest 15.
