Cookie policy
What cookies we use, why, and how to control them.
This Cookie Policy explains how BIOHACK CLUB LLC uses cookies and similar technologies on the Biohack Recipes website. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device to remember information about you. We use both session cookies (which expire when you close your browser) and persistent cookies (which stay on your device until they expire or you delete them). We also use closely related technologies like local storage and pixel tags.
2. Categories we use
| Category | Purpose | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Required to operate the Service: keep you logged in, remember the items in your cart, remember that you have acknowledged the cookie notice. | PHPSESSID, BiohackRecipes_cart (local storage), BiohackRecipes_cookie_ok (local storage) |
| Analytics | Help us understand which pages and recipes are useful, where the Service breaks, and how to improve it. Aggregated and anonymized. | First-party analytics cookies (e.g., _ga style identifiers) |
| Advertising measurement | Measure the performance of advertising campaigns and report conversions to ad networks. We do not use cookies to display targeted ads on Biohack Recipes itself. | Microsoft Advertising UET (_uetsid, _uetvid) |
3. Microsoft Advertising UET
We use Microsoft Advertising Universal Event Tracking to measure conversions and ad performance. UET drops the cookies _uetsid (session) and _uetvid (persistent for up to 13 months) on your device, recording your visit and any conversion event. To opt out of Microsoft Advertising personalized advertising, visit account.microsoft.com/privacy. To opt out of cross-network advertising more broadly, visit optout.aboutads.info (Digital Advertising Alliance).
4. How to control cookies
Browser-level controls
Most browsers let you see what cookies are stored, delete them, and set preferences for future cookies. Visit your browser's Help section or these pages:
Most browsers also support the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which we honor for users in jurisdictions where GPC is legally recognized.
Opt-outs by category
- Analytics: Use your browser's Do Not Track or GPC settings, or block analytics cookies in your browser preferences.
- Advertising: See the Microsoft and DAA links in section 3 above.
- Essential: These are required for the Service to work; blocking them will break login, cart, and similar functions.
5. Changes to this policy
